Alfred G Zanetti School Save Energy and Dinero with Mass Save

March 28th-Alfred G Zanetti School in Springfield learned how to become Green Eco Warriors through the Save Energy Save Dinero Challenge provided by Western Massachusetts Electric and Mass Save. The Save Energy Save Dinero™ Challenge is an interactive live educational performance that explains where energy comes from, which energies are renewable, and how to save energy. Students became energy ambassadors and used their new powers to make a difference. Students met the characters, Dinero the Frog, who teaches about being energy leaders, and the Phantom Draw, a comical villain that steals energy. Each student received the book “Dinero the Frog Learns to Save Energy” and met the books author Leticia Colon de Mejias.
